Libraries

While we specialise in primary school performances, Ireland’s travelling marionette theatre also engages with young readers with performances at their local libraries.

Many of the Moon & Sixpence productions are based on classic fairy tales – bringing to life the stories found on the bookshelves surrounding that day’s performance.

It is quite an experience to watch children make the connection between the adventures on the puppet stage and those that can be found on the bookshelves around them.

Our library performances have brought us to branch libraries across Dublin city, Fingal, South County Dublin, Louth, Kildare, Meath and Tipperary.
